The Hierophant, in this deck, is He Who Sees Everything. With all of the eyes present on this card, both physical eyes and mystical eyes, he sees through and beyond form to essence and truth. Because of this trait, he is the perpetual outsider; he can't help but always keep a part of himself looking outside of whatever circumstance he's in.
He is the spiritual journeyer, the messenger who travels to other places, receives messages and brings them back. The different vertical images of him to me represent this process of him leaving behind his physical body to journey to other places, and come back. He has the gift, and the curse, of an extremely broad perspective. A gift because it brings him much wisdom; a curse, because it sets him apart from the community.
